Preferred Prey Species

In 1947, a Mexican engineer and sportsman named Andrés Herrera filmed an extraordinary event on 16mm movie film: an estimated 40,000 female Kemp’s Ridleys hauling out simultaneously on a single remote beach near Rancho Nuevo in Tamaulipas, Mexico, in broad daylight.
